The missus broke the bulb in the oven trying to replace it this morning,one cut finger in the process. So after half an hour on my back trying to replace the broken bulb with a pair of pliers (with the power off), I tried jamming a cork into the broken glass to turn it, didn't work...but a carrot did the job in 30 seconds! On larger bulbs I would suggest you use a parsnip.Sent by Tony English
