About Me

Hero of Switzerland: Ben, Dan and Esme met as bored slackers working in shitty cubicles, at a shitty job, for shitty money. It was shitty. Since then however, through their camaraderie, a shared love of pubs, fish and chips, naughty words and pop culture, they decided to scribble, stitch, paint and scratch all the daft things that entered their minds. Hero of Switzerland is the vulgar, bleary-eyed but rather pretty creature that emerged. With three solo exhibitions under their loosened belts; 'Bad Taste' at the Sassoon Gallery, 'Crime and Punishment' at The Old Police Station and 'Heroes and Villains' at the VZ Gallery, their blogs, 'Horse With Hands Riding A Bike', 'From Memory' and their self-titled effort; with its collection of Tops Tips from ladies weeklies, you would’ve thought they'd be cosmetically-enhanced millionaire playboys by now. Sadly they're not. But that isn’t going to stop them getting together and drawing all the things that makes them laugh. They hope they make you laugh too. (with them, not at them)
